My bestie used my drawings for a moment of reflection <3

I'm working on the group exhibition A Horse With A Name 2, which will open next month at Van Landeghem Gallery in Dendermonde (Grembergen).

I enjoy coming up with titles for my artwork. Sometimes they serve as subtitles, other times they are intentionally misleading.

While feeling sick today, I comforted myself with a blanket and a book by one of my favorite artists, Marlene Dumas.

When creating a series of 'Plastic Dreams'—drawings made with plastic and markers—I play with repetitions of human figures and body parts. By layering and overlapping, I shape my own little story, infused with movement and transformation.
